Sourdough Discard Pancakes topped with Maple Smoked Cheese by @rosehillsourdough

Here is a recipe by the great dough-poker, @rosehillsourdough (IG, website) for some outstanding looking sourdough pancakes using sourdough discard. Something not for me as I am no baker but I hope all your sourdough bakers will try this ;)

Recipe

What you need

Serves 6 small pancakes

  • 100g discard
  • 50g water
  • 50g flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp everything seasoning (uhhh maybe garlic and pepper at least?)
  • 2 sprigs green onion
  • Pinch of salt
  • Food by Sumear Maple Wood Smoked Cheese

What to do

  1. Mix everything up
  2. Fry them in a pan with some melted vegan butter or oil on medium-low heat a few minutes each side until golden and cooked through.
  3. To serve: Topp with a bit vegan butter, some chopped coriander and Maple Smoked Cheese
