As someone who was on a heavily restrictive low carb diet, grabbing a quick snack out in public can be quite tricky.
I followed the Ketogenic diet & lifestyle to mend some health problems I have had which meant I needed focus 80% of my nutrition on fat, adequateΒ protein and carbs very low.
I was off sugar long before I turned to Keto and so it was not much of a shock to the system to be low carb. However, the lack of easy to pick up fruits and sandwiches have made things a bit difficult.
However, I realised that it meant I could revisit my love affair with cheese which is excellent news.
Just in my mind, it seems socially unacceptable to be eating cheese while walking down the high street.
