Intensely rich & savoury smoked cheese with a tangy profile and a subtly sweet finish thanks to the whisky that was stored within the oak wood barrels. Forget applewood. This is for the real smoked lovers. Reminiscent of mild cheddar or Wensleydale cheese.
Texture: Firm and creamy with a tiny bit of a crumble factor.
Maturity: 20-30 days minimum.
Pairings & Uses
Uses: Can be sliced, grated, and can be melted on the hob with any kind of plant milk.
Wine Pairing: South African syrah wine with big smokey, peppery and slightly chocolatey flavours.
